Hi, I'm Daniel. I'm an Israeli-Canadian gay man currently living in New York and working as a Software Engineer on the AMP Project at Google.

I grew up in Jerusalem, moved to Tel Aviv in early adulthood to study for my bachelor's degree in computer science and work as a software engineer for various small companies and start-ups, then to Vancouver where I studied for my master's in computer science at UBC, continuing on to San Francisco where I first joined Google, or rather YouTube where I helped launch YouTube TV, and finally to New York City.

Some of my interests and hobbies, in no particular order, include generic geekdom and SciFi, board games, video games, tech, running, gym, hiking, camping, travel, brunch, linguistics, and social justice.
